Musicals...

Just decided that I'd like to see the musical Jekyll and Hyde, which will move to Cologne in March... :hotjump:

I like musicals, unfortunately I need to travel when ever I feel like to see one. Some distance are quite far... I have seen The Who's Tommy in New York City... Chess in London....

Anyone else likes musicals?

I quite liked The Phantom of the Opera and Jesus Christ Superstar. Apart from that, I don't listen to musicals. I find them too cheesy most of the time.

I like Phantom of the Opera and Les Miserables. I got completely addicted to Les Miserables in like the 5th grade. I still have most of the songs memorized. Sad, I know.

i like operas but not musicals. I acted in my fair lady once and hated it. I would like to see phantom of the opera some time.

Lots of good and bad musicals out there. I've not seen quite a few that I'm told are good (like Miss Siagon, Phantom of the Opera, Jesus Christ Superstar, others...)

My favorites are:
Les Miserables (my favorite)
Fiddler on the Roof (2nd Favorite)
Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat
Grease


I know there are others, but I'm drawing a blank right now.

i usually don't like hippish musicals like hair and jesus christ superfart

i prefer old hollywood stuff like judy garland's and fred astaire's

wizard of oz make me cry every time i see it...

one great modern musical is DANCER IN THE DARK
