Mustaine's latest nonsense

What pissed people off to the Chicks is that they did their denunciations on foreign soil, not that they would not have had troubles if they said what they said here, but they would still be somewhat relevant in the Country scene if they had.

Man, and I LOVED "Goodbye Earl". :p:lol:

No kidding....Mustaine did the same thing (in Singapore)....that's why I wrote what I wrote.

Ah yes, of course BHO has already been caught eviscerating the 2nd amendment via the ATF gunwalking incidents. Funny thing is, that gunwalking program was started by W in 2006.

Maybe they're ALL in on this conspiracy... where's my tin foil?

Look, we are talking about Alex Jones here. He built a memorial to David Koresh and thought 9/11 was an inside job. Why would anyone discuss an interview performed by an interviewer so irrelevant on an irrelevant outlet? It is like a discussion on an interview done by BenMech with Arcturus. Who cares?

Now, if Mustaine did that interview with Rush, Hannity or Neal Boortz, then you have something. They are far more mainstream than Jones ever will be. But, this? Please.

Trying hard to keep this non political however...

Not trying to be a dick but care to explain to me how WTC 7 (World Trade Center Building # 7) fell at free fall speed without being hit by a plane, and why ON VIDEO firefighters can be heard saying "explosions coming from the basement"?

Its funny how many people to this day only think TWO buildings fell on that day.

I've seen a lot of explanations online and none of them are practical or logical.

Now does that mean I think George W Bush had something to do with this? NO...but I do NOT believe the "official" story not even for a second. We were all told how Osama Bin Laden was responsible yet we went after Saddam Hussein immediately after instead (that's a whole other debate for another place).

Now if you want a conspiracy look no further than to those who think the World is actually FLAT! What? Wow!

I'm sorry that you've been so desensitized by the lies and bullshit sensationalism from the mainstream media, but instead of pretending that the equally sensationalist conspiracy theory nonsense from Info Wars and the like holds any value whatsoever, how about accepting the middle ground that there actually exists legitimate reporting/facts/etc, beyond CNN or Fox News. Just because those places are terrible doesn't mean accepting fairytales is OK either.

We have something called peer-review for a reason.

Did you read anything I stated previously? Ok if you can't comprehend it let me say it YET AGAIN. I do NOT hang on every word Alex Jones says. If Alex starts believing in Bigfoot doesn't mean I am just because he says so. Alex is religious...and guess what? I'm not.

So I state again just because Alex said it isn't the reason why *I* believe it.

I see why its easy for people to be manipulated...can't even comprehend a basic sentence!

I've argued enough with you in the past. Its evident we disagree on 99.9% of everything life has to offer.

EDIT : BTW do you have the answer to my WTC 7 question? I'm all ears.

I clearly read that you don't adopt everything Jones says. But that you adopt any at all is bad enough for me, which is the distinction I'm making. It's all unreviewed, unresearched, sensationalized fairytales for people who want to pretend they're living in a movie.

There's nothing wrong with asking questions, but sometimes if there isn't an answer it's better to stop there until an answer can be found than pull out an answer that is likely false. I'm not going to get into 9/11 conspiracy theories, but Popular Mechanics issued a lengthy debunking of all of the theories years ago.

Fair enough but I read that Popular Mechanics article and it was filled with a ton of loop holes. 1000's of ENGINEERS have come out questioning the WTC 7 incident.Sorry but the odds of not one, not two but THREE buildings falling perfectly symmetrical and at free fall speed makes no sense.

Anyways I realize politics, and religion is usually a bad idea especially on message boards and we can agree to disagree.

At least Alex Jones is making people think OUTSIDE the box...whether he is right or wrong. I QUESTION anything and everything that does not make sense to me. Doesn't make me a "Conspiracy theorist" it makes me not accept everything I'm told as fact.

Agree 100% I know in the past we talked in your chatroom about Infowars and I love reading it too, that and Coast to Coast A.M. I know all of it's not true , but it sure makes you think, and some of it is true. No matter what anyone says someone will try to find something to say about to disagree so it doesn't really matter.

1000's out of how many? "1000's" sounds huge. Unless you're comparing it to the 1,000,000's of engineers who probably studied it. Just a thought.

I understand your point. If you have 15 minutes watch this video. It should at least make you question the "official" story.

When it comes to James Holmes these are the same questions I had plus others.

EDIT : I just wanna note that I do not side with Mustaines comments. I just hate whenever someone like me questions an "official" story we are labeled as conspiracy theorists.

I actually have so little interest in 9/11 you'd probably think I hate America. People flew planes into buildings. Hundreds died. A country went to war. Millions died, as is what happens in a war. Whoever was or was not responsible, it happened. If you choose not to believe the "official story" (whatever that means), that's your call.

People are also free to believe in Creationalism despite the science that denies it. It really doesn't concern me if it doesn't get shoved in my face.

I think if you're at the point where you put "official" in quotations, you qualify as a conspiracy theorist. If your instinct is to distrust widely reported events in favor of complex and sinister secret scenarios, isn't that the definition of a conspiracy theorist?

It is kind of funny how touchy some get about that. I have friends that realize it's just time to chill out a bit when I mention they're grinding on a conspiracy theory. But I always give them plenty of room to theorize before it starts getting to the ridiculous stage. They know I just choose to not spend my time on it. Not that I only think inside the box, but there is a sign or two, like you brought up, that shows things are getting past logic.

Could be. One thing about it, we're way past the point of needing to wake up and start learning how to keep wackos from having guns. There has to be a better system than we have now.

How about actually giving "wackos" proper mental health treatment? Hell, it is difficult just to find someone who is willing to see my ADHD son that is actually covered by my insurance...
