Mutant is a band from Sweden that presents a unique style of extraterrestrial black/death metal. The band contains guitarist Peter Lake, and drummer Henrik Ohlsson from Theory In Practice. This album the Aeonic Majesty presents 9 songs of unrelenting masterminding skill and brutality. This band is no joke and has recorded these songs for every note to be heard. Even though this project uses a drum machine programmed by the guitarist, it's programmed with skill including time signatures that are hard to comprehend if you're not a musician. Mutant is a band signed to Listenable Records in late 1999 and their CD is only distributed through them. The lyrics from this band can relate to every non-believer of Christianity with a free form story telling approach from Henrik the Vocalist. Guitar/Drum and Bass work is done by Peter Lake that this CD is a fine example of what one soul can come up with. The artwork is designed by Digital Apocalypse and recorded at one of their own studios called Majestic Studios. Thus, maybe that's why the album is so well produced. Henrik states there will be a following project after Theory In Practice is done with what they need to do. I give this project from hell 10/10 Metal Points.
