Also, the new Dark Tranquillity album will be out soon, and im sure that will be on this list too. Cant say for sure just yet about which one is best. Ill let you know on January 1st.

Ditto. Arsis was first in my mind right up until I listened to Autumn Aurora straight through. Absolutely fucking brilliant. The new Chasm album is coming out this year too...

i bought it the other day and its all ive been listening to constantly, its really good.

i'm looking forward to the new Children of Bodom EP/album coming out later this year though.
nothing out this year has been extremely incredible yet.

Agreed. The new Countess comes to mind.

I personally thought the new Suffocation and Fear Factory albums were fucking ace, especially considering that they were comeback albums.

One of the best black metal albums ever, in my opinion.
