My ambience EP up for download

It does work (;

You have to go to http://www.streamload.com/Neverdead/ and download the last one called "dreamkeeper.zip"

It's a bit too experimental for me... not my style of music... sorry.
But the backgroundmelody of the second one "Dead as dreams become" sounds like the backgroundmelody of a song from the german goth band ASP ... I think the song was "Ich will brennen" [quite a good song] or something different from the Weltunter-album

well, sounds very experimental indeed.

you asked for feedback, well, then here I go:

the stuff is good: twisted, melodic, interesting.
sounds more like post rock stuff. in the vein of sigur ros and all that shit.
even like ulver.

the best song for me is "dreamscapes and nightmares".
it's got a better song structure and is the longest of them all.

the rest of the songs need a better structure and planning.
they sound like small pieces of unfinished songs.

the intro drums and bass in
2) Dead As Dreams Become
need more work...

in my opinion you don't need the use of vocals...

but still the harsh vocals do a quite good job ;).
growls are becoming quite boring these days...:p

the production of the songs overall needs a lot of work...
it would be nice to separate each instrument to have the listener
expect sounds from everywhere, instead of a big sound mass in the center.

well, that's my opinion.
but as I said before, the stuff is good.
if you do more "dreamscapes and nightmares" - like tracks and produce them better
you'd surely gain more fans around :)

i've got a project in the same vein, but less experimental.

check it out.

see ya and keep working. :zombie: :headbang:

Thanks a lot man :)

I'll work on mixing, but I do know that my beats are pretty damn boring :p

Usually the length of the tracks are short because I just can't think of where to take them...

Soul Mate is my personal favourite track next to Astral Screams.

Soul Mate

A call of silence through grey fallen life.
A soul mate, not yet met.
Yet somehow hope lights melancholic days
And the grey for a moment, slowly fades away.
