It's my first ever "proper" attempt at a full mix of a finished song, tell me what you think

Hey dude, sounds pretty good - first off though, I gotta say I'm really not feeling the vocal panning; it's just too wide, and is very disconcerting IMO; bring it all closer to the center is my advice! (maybe one dead center, the other off to the right a bit, or left, but I think I'd prefer right for some totally arbitrary reason ) Also, the kick sounds like it has a bit of the Kevin Shirley syndrome, with boosting going on at around 2k, the nasally range - if you've got a boost there, I'd suggest decreasing/deleting it, and boosting at around 4-6k for some more attack. Also, the snare could definitely come up, really not hearing it. And man these vox are weirding me out Are there always 2, or sometimes 3? Overall not bad dude!

haha well i'm mixing in DT100s so i'm not surprised there's some things amiss

i'll try and fix what you said. Yeah there's always 2 voices, and then there's a harmony voice that comes in sometimes. They're not in time with each other enough though, so i think i'll cut at least one of the main vocal lines

Vocals sound weird and are too loud and need to be center. Sounds like you copied and pasted 1 left and 1 right and then flipped phase on one or something. Sounds odd...

WTF it did not sound like that before i rendered it dear god that's drastic............sorry

EDIT: yeah it did sound that bad before, i think it was just a case of getting used to a sound without any frame of reference

I think mixing in DT100s has made me afraid of using too much lows, in case they come out really boomey on other systems. Can't wait to get home to real monitors. What do you guys think? A bit thin sounding overall?
