My band is recording our demo tonight and this weekend.

:kickass:

I'll have to ask Mr. Miles since he's the one that did the drum programming, as far as I know it's just some shitty Boss drum machine that's been in the family for like 10 years. Or maybe Cakewalk has a built in drum machine, I don't know because he's like the engineer/mixmaster dude. I'll probably record real drums this week, no sense in letting $300 worth of drum mics gather dust.

Actually I should probably email this thread to my bandmates and shit, I'm sure they'd enjoy positive feedback and crap.

The next time you send anything to him for any reason, tell him that Max Johnson from Connecticut wants to have his children.

And Adrian, by the way- what sort of programming device did you use on this demo? It actually took me a minute to decide if they were real or not... PM me or whatever. I've listened to this about 5 times today, it keeps getting better and is currently at the "CSORE" level.

I used a program called "Sample Tank" you can use it with Cubase our Sonar.

I heard the song last night. I was thoroughly impressed. Even caught myself tapping my foot.

Second and third songs just about done, then I think 2 more waiting in the wings. In total we have 11 songs, 10 of which will be on the finished product, No Way, Fish Tank! to be released independently for the time being, then off to label shopping. We asked Josh Homme to play drums on one song, he probably won't, but that would be pretty fuckin' sweet if he did. :loco:
