My band just released our first EP.

Hey guys, my band Nefarious just released our first EP. I always describe our music as sort of a heavy thrash on 7 string guitars. We did everything ourselves with the mixing etc being done by myself. The mixes are now final but any criticisms are welcome for future projects. Sounds good to me. The one thing that I did notice is that the leads were just a little overbearing sometimes, but maybe that's just comes down to personal taste.

Thanks for the feedback. For some reason i had a real hard time getting both the leads and vocals to sit really nice in the mix. They either came out too quiet or slightly too overbearing. No one else in the band mentioned it so its nice to know i wasn't going a bit crazy thinking it myself haha Something i definitely need to work on in future mixes. Thanks again for checking us out!

Not a problem. You guys definitely have some cool tunes. Vocals and leads seem to be my biggest challenge when mixing, too. I can never get them to sit just right.
