My Bands Final Mix - Help Needed!

Hey all. I need your guy's ears PLEASE! My band just got one of it's songs back for us to determine if we like the final product, which is the final mix and master. I'm not sure how I feel about the mix. It seems kind of weak for the genre. It kinda sounds a little muddy too. Also, I feel the cymbals are buried in the background instead of present in the mix. I'm not sure as I'm not experienced enough yet.

The instruments were recorded as follows:
- Live drums and cymbals. Drums were replaced with triggers (Drumagog) and cymbals were left the same.

- Guitar & Bass was recorded DI and routed to PodFarm.


Let me know what you guys think. Any criticism is great as we want this CD to come out as good as possible. Thanks in advance!

your right the cymbals are a little weak and the main vocals sound kinda boxy to me. i like the growlers that sound good

The guitars seem a bit muffled. I would brighten them just a little.

i liked it, vocals did sound a bit boxy, but easily can be fixed ..
in 1:24 i would totally change the hi hat over to china but thats just me

Vocal style reminds me of A Day To Remember. Definitely dig this.
