Guys,
I'm a member of charitable foundation "Україно! Я за тебе!" (Ukraine! I am for you!). At the moment we're managing the project 'Warm the Kids' (licence: serial number A01 №215098, from 16/03/2010, in Goloseevsky disctrict government administration in Kiev).
Gorodetsky orphanage was founded in 1933. It is a home to 93 children, who are deprived of parent's love and attention and have inborn impairments of central nervous system and psychological deviations. Their ages range from one month to four years.
During past April the orphanage's building was damaged by the fire caused by electric short circuit. As a result boiler, laundry, and kitchen housing portions of the building were destroyed. In addition, orphanage experiences heavy toll of overall economic crisis in the country and is in dire needs of food, children's clothing and medical supplies.
Management of the orphanage intends to arrange a medical building in this place, which is so necessary to these babies, and especially to the babies with cerebral spastic infantile paralysis, because their formation of all motor functions are delayed and disrupted : to hold their heads, seat skills, standing, walking, manipulative activities.
I'm asking you and all of my friends to support these little guys.
You can help and support the initiative by making your contribution in several possible ways:
1. Give a financial contribution (preferably) in the amount that you deem appropriate. These funds will be directed toward
reconstruction of the damaged building and procurement of medical supplies, food, pampers, and toys.
2. Donate goods. This may include toys, clothes, shoes, stationary and developmental games for children, medical supplies, pampers,
baby linen, etc. Anything you think is necessary for the kids of this age and is in good shape
For more details (bank information and other) - you can always ask me here or in PM\IM.
Thank you in advance for your support, guys.
