I don't like the font because it looks to curly...to un-serious for the rest of the cover.

Yeah, great cover, though I'm not too fond of the font either...
It was the only thing I noticed which seemed weird. But maybe
that's good? People will notice it cause of the weird font >)

To me it just looks like another cliche metal album cover, which I'm not fond of...

But it looks like that's the effect you want. So in that case, I would say it looks damn good. Just change the font of "Mike Byrne."

SA, you could try to use a different font on the "Stygian
Apothegm" part. Using the same shade effect on both
"Mike..." and "Stygian..." is probably what makes it weird.

i drew it pixel for pixel!

nah.. it's actually 2 images smooshed together then i just messed with the lighting and colors.

the top part takes up the whole area but only the top shows.

the other pic was a pic of a desert, and i darkened it (you can see the sand dunes on the horizon..)

I appear to be the only one who liked the font (the second font anyway). It looks sorta archaic and druid-y or some mythical shit like that.
