My Dying Bride's new album.. heard anything?

yeah Songs was a little lackluster though they started out the album right with Wreckage of my Flesh.. only liked about maybe 2 or 3 songs from that album.. though i can tolerate listening to the whole thing... so thats why im hoping the new one is great throughout like The Dreadful Hours and The Angel and the Dark River... any news on when it will be released? the Title? or have any samples made the web yet? ...

from the three albums I have (Songs of Darkness and The Angel & Dark river, The Dreadful Hours) their greatness never seemed to have gone away... though Song's could of been better my two favorite songs were/are Wreckage of my Flesh and My Wine in Silence.. but from what you said about the new one I hope this new one lives up to the past....

I think the album is excellent so far, though I have only heard it a few times. I will probably have to hear it a few more times to form a concrete opinion on it. At the moment I'd definitely rank it along side my favourite MDB albums Angel and The Dark River and The Light at the End of the World though.

Hmm... After 3 songs I can't say i'm impressed. Like Songs of Darkness it lacks any kind of emotion. Maybe i'm just expecting too much, but I wouldn't place it anywhere near Angel or Light.

I really enjoyed SOD,WOD... I know a lot of older fans were upset about it, but I thought it was a great album. Crushingly heavy and filled with great storytelling, with great vocal work by Aaron.

Structurally it was interesting, never boring, with each song having its own character (as it should be).

ALODK is... well, I'm pretty let down by it. It just feels like they've run out of ideas... and emotion.

TBH, I've enjoyed every MDB album. Except 3646784678468%, obviously. Personally, I believe they peaked with "Like Gods of the Sun".

I also don't think the Empire Strikes back is the best Star Wars film, masturbate over TRITSIO or bow down at the Darkthrone.

Yeah but you say that about every band that's put out material later than '94...
