My First Mix and Master

Kick drum is WAAAAYYY too overpowering I think. Everything sounds great, but that kick gets very irritating after about 6 seconds

Hey, thanks for the comments, I'm taking care of that Kick and the reverb ;)
I have another question that I hope anyone can help, when I recorded the guitars for this track using a sm57 I recorded the line out of the preamp and liked to know if it´s a good idea to use it with impulses to get a fuller sound? It's the same guitar tracks but using the line out.
Thanks

It's not a huge change from the first one. I actually don't think the entire kick is too loud though, to me it seems just like the low end of the kick is too loud and overpowering. If you can get the low end to be controlled better and actually give it it's own space in the mix, so that you can still feel a "thump" without having the volume cranked up, it will sound a lot better. Low end is tricky though so don't be surprised if it takes a lot of time to get it right...
Also, what kind of microphone did you record the vocals with? The vocals sound WAY too bright to my ears, like you either made a huge shelf boost on the high frequencies, or put some kind of light distortion on the vocals that also had the highs boosted way too much.
