My first mix, need some help

this is my first mix of my band. I know that there are some timing issues, but my concern is with the overall tones.

really dig it man, tone is smooth, drums are balanced...i say, "great first mix dude!"

I agree, I think it's a really good first mix. The tighter the performance is (or editing you do to get it that way), the better it will sound sonically, too, so keep that in mind. Just start thinking about "polishing" because it really does sound like a good start to mixing!

Right on, I appreciate it. I used Pod farm for the guitar tracks because no matter what I did to record the guitars with my 6505+, it sounded terrible.

Maybe turn the guitars up. I don't know, listening to my shitty macbook speakers I can barely hear the guitars
