I was messing around with a rhythm and felt like trying out a mixtest with a solo over top. It came out alright, I suppose, nothing I'm really happy with. Please excuse the solo. It was just something I wanted to throw out to get working on the mix itself.
Issues I feel I've got:
-Mix itself feels muddy almost. Not enough clarity in the rhythm.
-Kick is somehow too clunky, almost. It sounded great on its own but really took a turn for the worse when I got the instruments up with it.
-Rhythm guitars are indistinct underneath the solo.
