My first test - Pod Farm + Dfh no bass

Ok It's my first test, here a simple riff, only double tracks, no bass and I use Dfh with drum kick and snare sample. Don't listen the solo, it's a bad improvisation

Did you hard pan the guitars because they sound pretty mono to me? Other than that I think everything sounds pretty good.

Gtr's really sound quite mono to me too. What program you use to make your songs?

I recorded it with Reaper, set the tempo about at 120 bpm, then I create a drum track with DFH and play behind my riffs. I replace kick and snare.
I put one guitar to R and one guitar to L (pan 100% each side)

Did you copy and paste one guitar track to the other side?
Cos it'll cancel out and become mono if you do that.
You need to record it twice.

Much better, but seriously: a tiny winy bit more gain wouldn't hurt much. I feel the palm-mutes are becoming a little too dull due to the lack of gain, and/or sounding too core unless you're actually aiming for that kinda sound.

EDIT: Or maybe it's just me. Been a really rough day, too much fatigue.
