After I finished listening to Sadness Will Prevail all the way through for the first time, I remember feeling like I'd just witnessed a multi-car pile up, but I couldn't wait to go through it again. That's such an unhinged album it's mindblowing... so Kiss The Pig ought to be fantastic. Hope Steve sorts out the production though - SWP was really ear-shatteringly trebly...

I thought I was keen on harsh production - right up until those high-pitched arpeggiated piano melodies throughout the album started making my eardrums spontaneously combust and my eyes blled 'cos I'd foolishly put the volume on my personal stereo up to full.

World's apart for me, In the Eyes of God is more straight forward hardcore and SWP is just one insanely long drawn out nightmare. It really does have that not-quite-awake quality to it for me, very frightening.

"in the eyes of god" is okay... i've listened to it a lot and it has never done a whole hell of a lot for me. SWP, on the other hand, sounds like something i could really get into.

In The Eyes of God is one of the top 5 metal albums ever recorded. Calling it hardcore is just being lazy with your descriptions . . . but I understand what you were trying to explain, NAD.
