I really can't give much but here goes. I heard this on Sirius Octane or Liquid Metal a few days ago. For the life of me I can't remember the name of the band. It uses a "discharge" beat, very heavy but the singer sounds exactly like the guy from the 70's band Molly Hatchet. That's the best clue I can give. I have searched play lists from that day and the days before and after but no luck.
