My lastest mix/master

Great mix, some parts remind me of Gojira, and the vocals remind me of Godsmack.
As for the mix, all sounds great, especially the guitars, but I think the snare needs a small boost in the low-end and some reverb.

Thanks for listening man! I agree with you about the snare.
As for the influences, the band is indeed a huge fan of Gojira :)

If I'm not completely lost sense for mixing (working just on audio books lately) something is wrong with drums ,they sound mono?
Guitar are fine ,vocal is bit louder.

Cut 3dbs at 3k from the guitars and you're good. You used podfarm right? :) damn that vocalist sounds awesome :kickass:

Overall the tracking sounds pretty messy but w/e

Argh, nope I reamped the left guitar with my - real - 6505 and the right one with a good Diezel profile :/ Do they sound that fake and shitty??

No, they sound good! They just need a tiny cut @3k they're a little harsh and will help them blend better with the rest of the mix.

Nice of you dude, thank you. They're little harsh indeed. I used to cut too much in this area, now I am a bit shy about it. It's just about the right balance :)
As for the recording, the guys were very messy and wanted to play much more notes than they had with me actually. I tried to make them focus on the essential but after the editing shit the result is still very shambolic and sound "busy" if that makes sens. I wanted to make a more raw sound but it did not work mainly because of that.

Yeah that 3k cut sounds way more pleasing to my ears, and will definitely give you room for the vocals, they're definitely fighting with each other frequency wise imho
Also, might be me but I think the snare is a tad bit loud, not much though.

Overall awesome job!

Thanks for listening dude! I don't find the snare too loud really but it sounds a little bit annoying/irritating at the end tbh. I'll post another version ;)
