i feel like the drums sound great, but I need pointers with the guitars. any help?

edit: I disabled the soundcloud link to make some adjustments.. I just can't seem to find an eq for the guitars that I'm happy with. I'd appreciate any help.

can you post your amp and eq settings? off the top of my head it sounds like it has way too much bass and low mids. pick attack could use some work as well.

its the typical diamond treadplate amp on pod farm and I subtract about 5db from 500hz and about 2kz.

if you're not using impulse responses that will help. i usually boost a couple db around 2k and cut at 4. also 800hz i would cut a lot. high pass at 100-150hz and low pass around 12k that might help.

i updated the thread with a mix that has more high end.. it still feels like its lacking to me, any other criticisms?

i'm still hearingh the same mud especially in the chugs...not sure whats going on. if you only have the 2 eq points you mentioned try the settings i gave you. you'll need like a 6 band eq
