My letter is in Kerrang! re: the Stock

Yes Kerang is KERAPP! It has been for a long time. There are not many real metal bands in there mainly trendy bands. It must serve a purpose (a bit like the Sport paper).
Go to pricktees.com and buy a Kerapp! t-shirt. Read them and you will piss yourself laughing. Thanks Martin!!

Kerrang was never a decent Metal mag. The only thing they were ever interested in was $$$$$$$$$$
Fair enough, you're entitled to your opinion, but if Kerrang was just interested in money don't you think they'd just get a bunch of 19 year old babes to spread eagle in it every week and not bother with the hassle of covering music? Making Kerrang a target is easy because it's the biggest one out there, but whenever I get into this discussion I often just ask 'Ok, name the last thing you saw in Kerrang in the last three months'. It's a difficult question to answer for some because many critics don't even read the damn thing, content to follow popular opinion. And don't worry, I'm not saying you're one of them, but your post was a good launching point for my diatribe - thought I should throw my own rambling into the mix.

Now if you'll excuse me, I've got some metal to listen to.

At last the voice of reason!!

Presumably akirasan has failed to notice that the only people shouting louder about his rightly beloved Invey is 'Kerrang!', unlike any other publication, large or small. Wear a T-shirt declaring K! to be 'kerrap' and you might as well say the same about Invey. Catch 22 dude. :)

Maybe I think Invey is Krap and I just want to wear their T-shirts?? :Spin:
I flick through Kerang and see nothing of intrest inside. It is a sad fact that 'music' today is ALL about image when it comes to the media. If the band has an image they can sell it and it looks good in a glossy magazine.

I don't watch music videos as it is the music that counts not what a band looks like.
As long as people listen to rock/metal or whatever you want to call it.

Rock N' Roll aint noise pollution. :p
