hey how have ye been?

so I raked up pretty good this time around:

Arch Enemy - Doomsday Machine
Meshuggah - Destroy Erase Improve
Meshuggah - Catch 33
In Flames - The Tokyo Showdown
Nile - Annihilation Of The Whicked (yay!)

Opeth - Still Life
Opeth - Blackwater Park

holy shit! these two kick so much ass. "white face, haggard grin, this serenity painted Death! like a halo of bitter desease, black paragon of lingering breath!

I also feel compelled to agree with whoever said that Bleak is the best Opethsong, because man a-fucking-live does it kick ass. real hauntingly beautiful like..

sigh... :)

so are you happy with your catch?
how do you feel about these albums?
oh and happy new year!

my "catch" was Opeth and Pain of Salvation dvds. I am pleased. Though the studio version of Be is much better in places.

I love Destroy Erase Improve.

yeah that one is cool, the sound is not really my thing, it's alittle too fat for want of a better word. but the songs are cool..

they went nuts on 33 though o_O

Opeth - Lamentations DVD
System Of A Down - Mesmerize
System Of A Down - Hypnotize

The Lamentations DVD is very good. Especially the documentary.

Kreator- Enemy Of God
Opeth- ghost reveries
Sentenced- The Funeral Album

I also got 2 more albums of not that well known artists that came out pretty good !

Corvus corax something and gregorian
yeah Nile was quite good, albeit darker than I expected, that fast song "...Pits of Duat" was awesome...

Yeah, I know. Btw, that's some mighty nice sarcasm you've got there. I did it to kinda show that I was gonna talk abit about them. So sue me.

I got some paper and a tube of Haribo.

I did buy some albums though, but a little before Christmas, and I ordered World Of Lies by The Berzerker, but it won't be here for a while.

Must be 4-5 months since I ordered Lamentations. Didn't arrive.
Parents ordered it for christmas. Didn't arrive. Me look in shop. Wasn't there! It's like I'm not meant to have the DVD. Now I know what the band meant when they said that people had a hard time finding their albums (part reason for signing to RR).

Rush - R30 Special Edition DVD
Opeth - Ghost Reveries
Opeth - Lamentations DVD

I spent the rest of my Xmas money on clothes and PSP shit.

@ original post- Bleak is my fav too.

I spent nothing on music over break, I bought new Burton bindings for my snowboard in Switzerland, where I broke my old ones :)

No Opeth, except the t-shirt i bought at the gig.

Got the Pain of Salvation and the G3 2005 DVDs (actually for both my birthday and christmas) as well as Lateralus by Tool. And I bought for myself for xmas Solefald - Red for Fire and Death - Individual Thought Patterns :D

Pink Floyd - Live at Pompeii (DVD)

Edge of Sanity -Crimson

Edge of Sanity- Crimson II

Moontower

Radiohead - Amnesiac

Kunek- Flight of the flynns

I've already got all the opeth stuff so....
