My new... uh, band - listen!

Too bad synth models of acoustic instruments like that suck teh ball.

plus you would be VERY hard pressed to find that on any synth, i've never even heard of it, I just got rid of my keyboard that had all the nice acoustic instrument samples, i prob could have added to it :(

Sounds epic. Although at around 7:30, you could've cut up the work into two separate songs. Love the distortion you put on those guitars, it sounds ace fucking classic for Burzum-esque black metal.

Thanks!!

The original idea I had was to make a single 82 minute track. Just too long to fit on a CD - as CD's are untrue. ;)

But that proved to be freaking difficult, and the second movement of the one I made seemed final enough.
Next step is to make one more (maaybe two) in a similar style, but different, and try to make that into a full length record.

Thanks for the support y'all!

(and one day, I will make that 82 minute track, mark my words)

I just answered my own question. Awesome, I thought this was a totally independent shop.

There's that eastern instrument shop on Valencia and 26th I've always wanted to step into. Though I'm a little apprehensive about having an Egyptian merchant staring me down as I hack into an Oud for the first time.

Did it move? The Lark in the Morning I went to was in the Canary in Fisherman's Wharf and had every kind of crazy instrument you could imagine.

Brooks I dig the song. I'm not sure it's something I could frequently listen to, but I appreciate the ambiance and droning. It would definitely make for a fun psychedelic voyage. It creates an eerie but not scary vibe, which I also like. Keep posting songs.

Also, I agree with Lynn. I think stereotypical black metal vocals would detract from it.

The Shop relocated in June 2008 to The Mission District:
1453 Valencia Street, between 25th and 26th.
BART transit station at 24th and Mission, a very short walk. Street parking available in the immediate vicinity.

Danke! Buddha metal.

I actually got some samples of gregorian chants yesterday, if anyones played Medieval 2 Total war they would probably recognize them (or listen to Heretique by Tristiania) but i also recommend "Delay Lama" if your going for that droning sound a drenched reverb'd sound from that VST low in the mix might sound cool.
