The list is shit, as expected. If you're going to discuss metal, discuss actual metal genres(READ: No "nu-metal" "alternative" and "grunge"), and do some research into all the genres you add to the list before you make the list.(black metal comes to mind..)

Agreed. Although I think a metal guide lacking BM wouldn't be missing as much as some would like to think. And the inclusion of "nu-metal" is debatable.

The inclusion of nu-metal isn't really debatable, unless it comes down to listing it under "genre's commonly mistaken as metal." And it's not the idea that he did or did not list black metal...I just think that if you ARE going to list a sub-genre in a guide like that, you should put some effort into researching it, so you give a better description than something along the lines of "Screeching vocals, agressive music" and just list four of the most popular albums as classics, when you could branch out a bit more into the different types of bands in that sub-genre.
