Whatcha think? :)

Excellent work on Mindcrime.
also nice work on the Persistence of Time
the Mastodon is okay I guess, I don't really have too much of an opinion on it.
I haven't heard the other two.

VOLUME 8 KICKS ASS.
Mastodon is okay i guess.
Anthrax Per.of TIme kicks.
Mindcrime is awesome.
Ministry is cool. Accept I get tired of all the Bush bashing in there.

Volume 8 was my first metal cd ever, so that's cool. I still remember seeing the video for Inside Out on some channel that doesn't exist anymore. The Mastodon is cool, and I think I have a cassette of Mindcrime. I'm still working through the 9 cds I just ordered from firebox.fi:

Metsatöll - Hiiekoda
Carved in Stone - Hear the Voice
Aarni - Bathos
Aarni and Umbras Nihil - Split
Forefather - The Fighting Man
Forefather - Legends Untold
Empyrium - Weiland
Vintersorg - Hedniskhjärtad
Glittertind - Evige Asatro

The new Metsatöll is unbelievable, any folk metal fan should order it immidietly.

I'll tell you what I think...................

I haven't heard that other stuff, but that Empyrium is fucking ace.

Metsatöll - great folk metal; Carved in Stone - great acoustic viking (all played/sung by a cute viking chick); Forefather - viking metal musically (lyrically saxon metal); Glittertind - folk metal/punk; Vintersorg - you should know already; Aarni - weird doom (doesn't fit the pattern, I know)

You should hear all of these bands if you like folk or viking metal at all. If you can't find any, I'm willing to send mp3s over IM or MSN (everyone should hear and appreciate these bands).

Here's my acqusitions this year so far, but mind you a good sizable chunk of that was orders I made using Christmas money in the previous year or trades which were also arranged back in December. Another sizable chunk was because I finally got paypal and wanted to try it out in a few places :)

Well, what do you think of those cds? :)

Angel Dust is a goddamn classic.

Hmm, well, the most recent are Pain of Salvation-Entropia, Spastic Ink-Ink Complete, Age of Silence-Acceleration, ...In the Woods-Omnio, Pink Floyd-The Wall, Autumn Tears-Eclipse, and Mechanical Poet-Woodland Prattlers. Surprisingly enough, my highest recommendation out of those doesn't go to Pain of Salvation, but to Mechanical Poet, though they are all very good. Autumn Tears is absolutely beautiful.

Leviathan and Houses of the Mole both own.

Here are my latest:

Dark Tranquillity - Character
Arsis - A Celebration of Guilt
OSI - Office of Strategic Influence
Orphaned Land - Sahara
Frantic Bleep - The Sense Apparatus
Green Carnation - Light of Day, Day of Darkness
In the Woods - Omnio
Age of Silence - Acceleration
Melechesh - Sphynx
