mystery symbol

well since it's apparently swedish why would it be a nazi-symbol?

it's just the ordinary symbol for the swedish army corps, which looks like this nowadays:

Since it seems we're the only ones here who did military service, I feel I have to support you here.
The symbol is just the normal military rank symbol for the swedish army. (This one is the lowest rank)
It has nothing to do with Nazi's although the Swedish government secretly supported the Nazi's during WW2.
Karlskrona has one of the biggest Navy bases in Sweden and is probably the biggest military-city we have (everybody who lives there has some kind of connection to the base)

wow, random. It's in brand-new condition... thrift store..california...
boggles the mind.

Thanks for all your help!

got it at a second hand clothing store (the salvation army for those of you who know them) for like $2. it is heavy, wool, and warm. the symbol looks british but i think it may be danish or norwiegan. somebody suggested it might be some new nazi thing, but i hope its not.

that patch was sewn on the wrong way. :(

yes, those are two heavy screws and a common (but dignified) sink drain stopper. what you are wearing is the upper half of a travelling north korean repairperson uniform (obviously unisex).

i believe you can sell that on eBay for about 1.5x the amount you purchased it for, there is a growing collector market for that sort of thing.

i don't see the correlation between that patch and this swedish army corps nonsense.
