I actually think they've been ace lately, plus it's nice to see that they're doing stuff after a prolonged break. Only own Vittra though despite being palman with da bänd, I should beg me some free stuff.

Jens' new project sounded as good as anything Naglfar has done lately. Vittra is the only album I own and I don't really plan to pick up anything more from them. I guess they found their niche, but it just isn't for me!

Agreed, allthough I didn't bother with their latest after beeing pretty disappointed with Sheol. BUT, Diabolical and Vittra are two of my favourite records which I doubt I'll ever grow tired of. It makes me wonder were all inspiration went during their long break after Diabolical... :|

"Diabolical" is such a goddamn brilliant album. I've had it for a while and it's one of those albums (like "Phoenix Rising") which really only hit me recently -- like I gave it the real attention it deserves.
Case in point: "The Brimstone Gate".

I hated it at first, but somehow I got into it after several listens. 2007 has been a ridiculously dissapointing year in general for extreme metöhl (save for a handful of death & black metal gems), so this is actually one of my favourite albums from '07

Aye, I've been saying that for years -- there's not one bad song on that album! And Horncrowned Majesty is one of the most crushing songs ever.
What do you think of Vittra btw? I think it's pretty damn spectacular, but obviously in a different way than Diabolical, which is all about power, force and fast riffs.
