This is a track that I actually started recording last week and just "finished" (minus a few tweaks here and there) yesterday. I really want that big snare sound that I hear these superbands use but I just can't seem to dial it in. For the drums I actually just used some parallel processing, giving the wet drum signal a lot of reverb with some cuts to the lower end to try to bring out the sustain in the snare.
DAW - Fl Studio 10 Producer Edition
I used Kontakt 5 with the SSD4 Platinum library
Guitar Rig 5 for all guitars and bass
I tracked mixed and edited everything in FL Studio, used Izotope Ozone 5 to attempt to master it (still don't know how to properly master a song lol)
But any way lemme know what you think, any suggestions would be nice!
