I woke up 1 minute ago and I'm not sure if this is sarcasm, but runes never translate into or out of a latin alphabet 100% properly... especially Swedish, with all of their crazy accents and stuff.

He's not saying the runes are "unprofessional" in that there are spelling mistakes or the like... I think he's just alluding to the runes as being a ridiculous element of style ("One immediately feels the urge to take a course on 'paganism for beginners'" [roughly translated irony]).
Even though the word "Gekrakel" has a pejorative subtext, I don't think it is used in that sense here... As usual with Rock Hard, the author just wants to "loosen up" the review by using slang-vocabulary, ending up with what he may consider to be "snappy" writing but which seems rather irrelevant and arbitrary to me.
