NC METALFEST returns to the Wilson Fairgrounds celebrating 20 Years of Metal at the Wilson Fairgrounds. Our first show there was in 1991 so we're bringin' it back BIG TIME.
There will be 30 bands performing on 3 stages along with several Metal merchants & vendors present.

I don't know most of these bands, but Widow and Twisted Tower Dire are great. I'd go if I lived in the area.

Wish I'd known about this sooner, not exactly sure where Wilson is, but we're always looking for an excuse to visit the in-laws in Raleigh.

I've only heard of three of these bands but if the ticket price is affordable I would totally go down and think of it as a TTD show with a whole lot of openers.

Now that I have heard WIDOW live, if I were closer they would make it worthwhile going to this. They are frigging awesome live.

I think the tickets are $15.00
As to those who have only heard of Widow recently well there are other good bands on this bill that have been around for quit a while. I think TTD is in their 12th year now and well those who done know them maybe it is time to discover one of the best metal bands the U.S. has to offer. And plenty of others and a good mix of power metal, thrash, death metal.
There will also be vendors on site.

So you'll be there then?

In the past few months, I have attended Widow/Benedictum, Saxon/Borealis, Frequis, Clandesine, Vayden, Idle Red, Sabaton, Adrenaline Mob, Progpower, Mayhem Fest. In the next few weeks I will see Sabaton/Evergrey, CAGE/Seventh Calling, Gemini Syndrome. And that's just what I know right now is coming.

So, in essence, yes. I will "be there."
