The Nocturnal Silence is a great album. Extremely well executed with interesting songs. Perfect for blackened death metal fans.

old thread, I know. but im getting giddy with excitement for Hrimthursum.

and yeah PJ, Bloodhymns rules! straight forward blackened death with HUGE cojones.

metal observer gave the new a 10/10, but they do that quite a bit, so meh....

that's what ive heard. some are saying its similar to dissection (when they were good) but more on the death part than black, and brutal at the same time.

more people need to discover Necrophobic.

It might take me a while to get to this one. I like TNS alot, but I still don't know if I'll move onto Bloodhymn... specially because if I want Necrophobic, I'll choose TNS.

so many are stuck on not wanting to spoil TNS. why? Darkside, Bloodhymns and Hrimthursum offer excellent music as well! Third Antichrist is meh, though.

I checked out the samples on their site the last time this thread was bumped. It sounded like really good stuff, but the sort of music I'd listen to lots for a month or so and then never again, and I have enough CDs like that as it is.
