Need a little help with the vocals

I recently did a practice mix for this song, but i can't seem to get rid of the sibilance which shows up excessively in the reverb.

I think the bigger problem is that the vox are not so well defined. I can't understand some of the words, especially in the busier parts.

hmm, might be because of excessive de-essing. I get about 4-5 dbs of gain reduction while de-essing the 5.5k region.
