hey guys,

i just finished recording rythm parts for an old-new song.
i want this track to be really TIGHT,
so i played several takes, edited a lot etc.

it is pumping yeah, i just wanted to get it loud
so you don't need to crank up your speakers when listening.

i also didnt do anything on the sound, everything is really raw,
so you don't need to comment on the sound, but you can of course,
maybe a few words about the guitar sound...

so what do you think, does it sound OK, or too tight/fake!?

thanks a lot!:headbang:

guitars are axe-fx, with custom UBER redwirez IR's.
2 tracks dual recto model, 2 tracks powerball model.

my strings are still fresh, so i have the chance to
rerecord if it sucks without having to change strings.
so, please comment! :D

Alot of tightness in these recordings is achieved by cutting the resonant part of the palm mute off after it... Metal is HYPEREDITED like no other whether we like to admit it or not...

@Mago
thanks a lot man!:)
second 23 has been mentioned a few times, i think it's ok, hust couldn't find something that fits better:D

@VWAS2009
exactly what i did. usually i love the WOUMMMM part of the pam mutes but this track kinda worked better with
castrated palm mutes!:D

cheers

here's another try!
i changed some minor things, unfortunately i forgot how the guitar sound was set, so i had to record everything new :D
