So yeah, LONG time reader, now starting to do a few things on git-tar and wanting some help if you could be so kind.

Here is my cut. I know the first bit is fast, its because my friend told me that I needed to learn to mix whilst it was fast as well as slow (musically speaking). So I am using Superior drummer 2 for the drums, with the metal kit (2 weeks pay slip, but sooooo worth it), and I did use my Boss GT-8 for the guitars, but I decided to use amplitube. SO amplitube for all five guitars (panned hard left, to hard right with 65% on the 2 and 4).
The bass is an odd one. Actually before any more info, I am using an 8 string Damien Schecter Elite-8, just so you know. So yeah, the bass is two tracks, both are my guitar played with a pitch shifter on as well to make them one octave below the guitars. I know this isnt ideal, but I currently do not have the funds to get a bass for now.
All recorded in reaper, and I dont have many plugins, so its just ozone 4 (forget the name, but the mastering one). I had a little money, so I went with one that did quite a few things.
