Hi!

The last days I've been working on a few songs, and I've kinda finished them...
Although I think that they sound rather good(considering that I've recorded almost everything in my kitchen... Yeah, I know, but I the best acoustics for vocals here... xD )

I really want some objective input from you guys, if you could take the time to listen to the tracks, since I think that it's better to have people I don't know judge my work, rather than friends.

It's 4 songs total (3 original songs and 1 cover.)

So, if you could take the time to listen, and give some feedback, that would be very much appreciated!

Here's the link to the YouTube playlist: LINK

Cheers, and rock on!

Hey man, I'll put my thoughts into bullets for ya,

1, Less reverb on the vocals and bump the volume up a few db.
2, Push up some hz's around 240 to make the guitars a bit fatter they sound really fizzy and thin.

3, Drums are midi / sampled? The toms are way louder then the rest of the kit so I'd bring them down to match the rest of the track.

Other than those 3 things it sounds pretty good man. Nothing painful in there at all.

Let me know how those work out for you if you choose to try em out, I have a thread called "Slayer style mix needs ripping open" if you wanted to check out a recent mix of mine.

Good luck man!

Joe

I noticed myself, post-render that the tom's where a bit loud, but I honestly didn't notice at the time of recording, since my ears where f*cked up...)

I'll also fix the prob with the guitar sound as soon as I get home.

Anyway, thanks for the feedback!
I'll be sure to check out your mix!

Cheers!
