Need opinion and tips

Here is a sample that I would appreciate if you can give your honest opinion about guitars or some tips to improve the tone, what would you do to make the guitars sound better?

It's a raw/dry as-recorded track.

good and clear mix... good to hear something that isnt squashed to death and cliped the hell outta for once... guitars especially sound good

For a start, the guitars could probably sound a lot more upfront if you raised the volume a tad. Other than that, I think they sound pretty good to me man.

That snare is a really distracting sound though...especially in the intro.

Yes of course, when is time to mix I will adjust volumes, this is just a sample with no effect added, as it was recorded. The aim was to check the guitar tone in different "ears".

I have downloaded Voxengo Warmifier demo and I'm getting some improvements on guitars... nice plugin, subtle improvements but I think is gonna sound a little better when I achieve the mixing.

Guitars are great, playing is superb, that goes a long way to making it sound good. Wouldnt mind a wee bit more body in the guitars, but apart from that, its awesome.

I love the song. And I love that creepy organ/teremine kinda sound. Right now I cannot listen loudly though but the snare seems very loud but I am not in the best judging environment at all now. But that song rocks. I hope the vocals are also very cool. But this topic is about guitar tone. Well, it sounds nice. But I would probably go for more then just 1 rhythm guitar tone because the riffs are quite different, they seem to come from different dimensions, and the tone you got there is very good but I think that this song could benefit from having at least 2 tones because of those dimensions. Ya know? Some people might replace the word "dimension" by the word "mood".

You mean record another 2 tracks (quadtracking) or reamping to get another 2 tracks with diferent tone but same take?
