I guess I'd call this "hardcore"? Reminds me of the NY hardcore scene.

Its def. not my type of music at all... it's a bit too shouty/punky/hardcorey, but the production seems about right for type of music.... maybe a bit too much traffic in the low mid area?.. makes it kinda boxey/rumbley sounding.

im sure if a kid bought this CD he would love to mosh with his baggy shorts, socks pulled way up, wearing checkered Vans and doing the semi-Scott Ian Moshy Dance?

I'd be pissed off with the guitars too. I'd bite the bullet and find the guitar's best frequency and just cut the shit out of all the rest of the instruments there.

overall its good, the guitars are a little bit muddy, tri cutting the lower mids a little bit and see what that does, drums sound good so does vox, good job!
