So I've been having a bit of trouble with my latest mix. I've predominantly been struggling with the bass and rhythm guitars. The bass is almost there, but the guitars... even after 4 instances of EQ plug-ins and 4 instances of CurveEQ I still can't get them sounding how I want.
I'm thinking I should maybe bite the bullet and take the tracks down to the studio to reamp with a triple rect.
Anyhow, if you guys care to please tell me how you think it's progressing, keeping in mind of course it's still a rough and incomplete mix.
