no WoW nerds with guitars plz (ie non of that cheese stuff )

but... but... all the good power metal is about dragons and demons...

i could make recommendations, but they would be the obvious ones like gamma ray and helloween. i think most of the good old power metal bands are pretty well known by all

And definitely Kiuas. But I wouldn't recommend Children of Bodom (but that's because I really don't like them ).

Has Hibria not been mentioned because it's considered to be too cheesy? If not then i definitely recommend them.

Also, if you like Children of Bodom, try Norther and Kalmah's first two albums.
