Ok, a few years back I had a band called God Blessed Devil. We wrote about 10 songs and never did anything with them. Since then, I've wanted to record the material so it could be done justice. I've basically got all the guys on board for recording the songs, schedules permitting, but there was always a big empty void in the material that was never properly filled....we never had a singer.
I tried to write vocals and do some singing, but was never confident with what I could do. Part of my problem was not knowing what style to go with, never knowing what type of vocals should have gone over the material. Now that the material has been shelved for a couple of years, and with the new interest in recording the material, I am wanting to not only amend that issue but I am also willing to find someone else more appropriate for the job if it requires it.
So, here is where the opinion part comes in:

Originally I was trying to do a kind of Chuck Schuldiner meets Mikael Akerfeldt type of thing, and if that still fits then thats cool, but I'd still probably want to find someone else who was better at it.
