need sugestion for guitar recording

Hi Guys,

I need your recommendation what to do and how to do it.

I have POD X3 and was eveluating ReValver 4 both of them kind of luck the sound I want and I don't really know how to tweak a good sound for myself I used to play BASS in a doom-death metal band.

what would you recommend?

The sounds I like Swallow the Sun / Staturnus

I´d go with the revalver 4 - load up a 6505+ and try some of classic settings (you can find tons of cool settings online, e.g.: chimaira, machine head etc.) and then just tweak from there until you found the tone your looking for.
