the writing and the mixing stage (pre production) and i not sure if this is giong in the right direction.

Sounds ok to me. Nice balance.

Give a bit more definition to the kick drum maybe? Can't say whether I'd turn it up or just EQ it to cut through a bit more. Or maybe I'm just biased cause I love kick drums. Take this with a grain of salt.

But everything sounds beautiful. Awesome mix. Awesome song.
