... i saw it for the first time last night and omg wow ... flawless satire, absurdist black comedy, amazing character drama ... bleak and still uplifting ... wow ...

A lot of the horror movies I watch are from the 70's.

Yeah, I've wanted to see that for ages. Does the protagonist announce he's gonnae top himself, aye, then the public start paying attention? Leslie Halliwell said it paints a sad, slightly eerie picture of the media today, or something to that effect.

Sounds funny.

if by "top" you mean "kill," then, yes, this is the movie you're thinking of. it does leave you with a really bleak, eerie feeling once it's over, but there are some ace moments of humor in the movie, too.

highly recommended.
