Recorded this last night, need to work on the drum sounds a bit and bring the cymbals down I think but otherwise it turned out sort of cool... Will track bass to it one day hopefully!

Any guesses on what was used for the guitars?

Excuse the occasional sloppiness, was first take only on each guitar track and by the time I had everything recorded and drums programmed it was like 10pm and I had to get up for work at 4:30am this morning so there was no way I was staying up any longer to get it perfect, haha...

Hey dude, sounds pretty good, though DEFINITELY bring the cymbals down (especially that ride, yeesh, and the crash as well), and maybe suck some of the pillowiness out of the kick at around 500-700, and a little more click at 4-6k. The guitars could come up a bit, and honestly, it sounds frighteningly like a pod to me, so I'll be saddened if you say it's a real amp :erk:

Haha guitars were my lowly Behringer V-Amp actually, and yeah, drums need serious tweaking. I programmed them in Fruityloops and just bounced a stereo file from there with no processing at all, just panning and levels. I'm going to play around with it a bit tomorrow night, I think when I'm home though I'm going to mute all the cymbals and play the cymbal work myself on a real kit over top of the programmed drums and mic up my Recto or 5150 to redo the guitars, might turn out cool.

Sweet man! I wanna hear what you can do with your Single Rec, cuz I've heard you say you like it, but I've never heard anything from it that impressed me and I've hated it when I played it myself :erk:

Didn't like it at first either but with a little tweaking and a tubescreamer the thing fucking rocks! Will have to A/B it vs. the 5150 though, I keep the Recto at home and the 5150 at the jamspace so I never get to hear them back to back.
