NEVERMORE Drummer To Perform With SOULBENDER - Dec. 16, 2006
NEVERMORE drummer Van Williams will sit behind the kit for SOULBENDER — the band formed by QUEENSRŸCHE guitarist Michael Wilton, ex-MY SISTER'S MACHINE singer Nick Pollock, ex-TIN PAN/FALLEN ANGEL guitarist Dave Groves, ex-ASSAULT/FALLEN ANGEL drummer Wes Hallam, and bassist Chuck Miller (PEACE AND SILENCE, DR. UNKNOWN) — on the following dates:

Jan. 06 - Studio 7 - Seattle WA
Jan. 25 - Stars Cabaret – Salem, OR
Jan. 26 - Rock and Roll Pizza - Portland, OR

SOULBENDER's self-titled debut album was released independently in 2004. A new rough-mix demo track, entitled "Chisel and Hammer", can be heard on the band's MySpace page.

Soulbender sucks, bad.

If you have a sudden need to barf everywhere, then be sure to check it out.

Ehh, there's a couple of okay riffs, but for the most part this sounds like hideous 90's rock mixed with Queensrÿche's worst moments.

Not to mention Kelly Gray is probably their producer.
