It's true that steeve's vibe belongs more with Testament onstage... I saw Curran with Annihilator and I think he belongs there too... I've always had that crazy Idea that Shannon Hamm should play in Nevermore...

i saw them in Washington, 9:30 club, and they were AWESOME.
i think Steve did a great job.





i have to say tho... and maybe it was the German air,
but the gig they played in Wacken 2001, was the best ive ever seen.

Well my evil beezelbub satanic god of emptiness pinstripe bubba buddy
Tony's kinda crusty. Sure he invented all that riffing and low E chunky
stuff that big felchers like James Hetfield get a real kick off of, but
Tony hates Ozzy. And Ozzy's always around "blubbering and ranting on
like a crazy old madman" as Tony says it giving Tony headaches all
the time so he's not really into seeing naked bikini models hiding the
baloney the way other english bass players in bands are I reckon.
I dunno, I reckon I'm not the right person to be talkin to about old lady
Tony Iommi. English Wankers don't like Southern Rednecks like Ol Billy
Bubba. Tony was the shiznit once, but now's he just crusty to me.
Geezer though, he likes to play games with groupies in the dressing
room as much as I do! I love Geezer! I really do! Geezer's a bubba
for life!

I think no one is missing, Curran, Tim or Pat in Nevermore. They've all been replaceable members. Warrel, Van, Jeff and Jim are "Nevermore"

Steve did an awesome job when I saw them...damn well better have, he's in fucking TESTAMENT. But I'd like to see Tim Calvert back with Nevermore for the long term, since the album he helped write was their best.

Curran was...and still is...the fucking king. He brought so much energy to Nevermore shows. He was great to watch and he got reall yintense and shit. The crowd(well at least me) fed off his energy alot.

i never got to see anyone besides Smyth live.... i think he did pretty well, although i do agree, Nevermore's energy could have been a little more....energetic? haha. I dunno, either way, i'm gonna love their live show everytime, and as long as the cd's and new material keeps coming out as great as it has been, i'm completely happy with it. Otherwise, i don't really mind who is the touring guitarist.
