Nevermore, Symphony X and Candlemass touring together?

The Masquerade posted on the ATL metal forum asking if there was any interest in a Nevermore headline date in October. One person asked if this was the rumored SX/Candlemass tour. The reply:

"No, support would be Warbringer, Mutiny Within and Hatesphere..."

sweet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
While I agree this would be a good package, I would still prefer Candlemass to either headline or co-headline a tour with someone like Vitus, Cathedral, or Trouble.

How about Candlemass/other band/Solitude Aeturnus?:rock: Get the right 'other band', and that would be a killer bill killing two birds with one Lowe.

That works too!!!!

I was always wondering if they would ever do a C-Mass / SA tour.
I mean the most demanding part of Lowe fronting Candlemass is all the reading he does on stage!!! ZING!

Wait, what are we saying? That Candlemass, SA, and Athiest toured together?

I know C-Mass came to Chicago once at the Avalon, though I can't recall who the openers were.

This is from http://www.adkoi.com/theoutcast/index.php?page=nonprint&interview_name=solitude_aeturnus
Interview with Rob about Chicago Powerfest 07.

The Outcast: Do you think Solitude and Candlemass will ever tour together, or will that be too much on your vocal chords?

Robert: Possibly no. There’s no way I could go 4 hours of hollering, you know?

The Outcast: King Diamond also went out with Mercyful Fate and the King said it was the biggest mistake.

Robert: You just can’t do that man. You just can’t ask a person to go up there and sing for 4 hours, especially the way King Diamond sings. You just can’t do 4 hours every night. The tours Solitude have done have been 28 days with one day off. It’s an ass beating!!

A little ways down from that excerpt, Rob mentions a (Europe) tour from 1997 that Solitude Aeturnus did with SAVIOUR MACHINE! Man I have missed all the good stuff :(

Am I the only person that digs MW around these parts?

:OMG:

For some reason I liked it when I first heard a couple songs and was even tempting to get the album. Then before my purchase I tried it again and HATED it! I must not have been thinking clearly when I first listened. Seeing them live with SA made my opinion even worse about them.
