New 220 VOLT song!

Yup, sounds like typical 220 Volt. Right where they left off with Lethal Illusion. The band never was metal, rather melodic rock with maybe a touch of hard rock. Depending on my mood, I like this kind of music. Good workout and walking music. Nothing progressive or lyrically challenging. Just fun rock music.

Never metal? Did you listen to the first 3 albums? For me, this was killer 80s melodic heavy metal. Now, maybe it could be called hard rock, but back then, it was pure metal for me.

Brand new lyric video for a very good song (heavier than the first one that was released last year). Andy Engberg fits the band perfectly IMO. Can't wait to hear the whole thing.

"Never metal" someone might want to listen to the first album.

They were like a lot of other bands from the 80s like Icon who had their feet planted in both metal (ish) and hard rock, and like most of their peers went more hard rock.

Yep. It's really a shame Icon didn't go on with the style of the 1st album and became much softier. 1st album was heavy and killer.

220 Volt's first 3 albums were surely "metal" in my book. Eye To Eye was not and I didn't really care about that kind of commercial Bon-Jovi-esque hard rock.
