Any thoughts on the mix? I'm assuming DL did this one as well, but I'm not entirely sure.

I stand corrected haha. But @stone, you're right, he did write but not tour prior to that.

The mix on this EP is pretty great, but the guitar riffs are unbelievably boring IMO.

yeah DL was kicked out haha which is funny because he pretty much wrote it all afaik. last album sounded like shit though, so this was a good move!

DL wrote most of the Acacia stuff but hasn't toured with them for years. Jack and Kevin are the backbone of Acacia, though, and had a lot to do with patterns/structure and wrote some riffs/breakdowns. Vincent is also obviously a huge part of it, but losing DL is not a bad thing for Acacia. The new guys are insane guitarists and writers in their own rights (ex-Oceano and Molotov) and coming from someone who's toured with them, I've never seen Acacia better live than I have with the new lineup.
