New album demos

Hey all,

Just in case you were wondering.....

We finished tracking the music for Alone and Face the Truth last night
and it's sounding kick ass! We will finish vocals on Monday and
depending on how things go, either mix Monday or Wednesday. This will
give us a total of five new tunes completely demoed and ready to start
shopping around, etc. It's really sounding cool, we think you'll dig them
quite heavily!

Basically, what we're doing is using an old Tascam 488 analog eight track,
sub-mixing the drums to two tracks then adding bass, two rhythm guitar
tracks, a lead guitar track, a main vocal and backing vocal. These demos are
mainly for reference and for feedback from our producer, Neil, along with
other industry folks as well as to possibly get some other things going for
the band. It's a slightly different approach than we've taken in the past but
we're very happy with the way the demos are turning out and we think it will
certainly pay off in more ways than one.

Thanks, Liciepoo, really glad you liked the new tracks live but you're
just gonna have to wait, we won't be putting any mp3s of the demos
up, sorry. :Smug:

all dyin' for the new stuff to come out, we really hope it will be early next
year for the finished album.

Wow, point Alicia! :Smug: Guess I can't say much to that except as history
would dick-tate (ie: PP, tea-bagger, Dr. Bag, etc.), I am always on
the other end of that scenario....thank you very much!

By the way, finished backing vox last and did an initial mix which turned out
good but we'll redo all five mixes again on Monday!
